Hi Dr. Warren, In 1995 you did a knee replacement on my right knee at Palms of Pasadena Hospital where I was an employee (and also from Waterbury). Just wanted to let you know that you did such a great job on it, that it is still working perfectly after 25 years. I am now 80 years old and pray it continues to work forever. Thank you for such a wonderful job.
I had seen several other orthopedic surgeons in town who all had the same thoughts, but I never improved. Dr. Braun listened to me and touched/examined me. He came to a different diagnosis…the correct one! Now I feel great! I am so glad I found Dr. Braun.
Dr. Braun is a thoughtful, compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. I have been seeing ortho doctors regularly since the early 1980’s and Dr Braun and his assistant are by far the best.
Dr. Warren is extremely knowledgeable and the best in his field. He’s tough and he will let you know what needs to be done to expedite your recovery and will expect you to get it done.
Dr. Warren’s professionalism is spot-on as is his expertise. He performed a bilateral knee replacement for me & I couldn’t have asked for better care or follow up during my recovery. His direct & no-nonsense approach is welcome & I believe that this helped me to recover in the timeline expected with no complications. I would recommend Dr. Warren to anyone who needs knee replacement surgery.
My 15yr old daughter tore both ligaments in her ankle. We were referred to Dr. Troxell by our podiatrist. My daughter was really nervous and in a lot of pain did not want anyone to touch her foot. Dr. Troxell was so gently was able to do his examination and put her at ease. Surgery was strongly suggested however we did not have insurance so we had to go the traditional route. We will continue with Dr. Troxell and his instruction and pray for no second injuries. Even though we do not have insurance there was no problem with us self-paying. The staff and his personal nurse are very professional and nice. If we end up having to get the surgery after all it will be Dr. Troxell that I would let operate on my daughter.
Dr. Ronald Troxell help me with my foot pain. He is an amazing Dr. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. The pain is gone and i can walk again. And yes, very charming! He is one of the Best!
I had bilateral arthroscopic knee surgery by Dr. Braun and it was a very satisfactory experience from pre-op to post-op. From my initial call to setup an appointment at the very beginning, all the staff were courteous and prompt. Cherie at the front desk went out of her way to help me navigate the confusing world of medical insurance. Dr. Braun and his PA were great at explaining what they would do in surgery and they graciously accommodated some of my special requests. Just had my post-op check-up today and Dr. Braun took time to walk me through a recovery plan to get me back to 100%. I hope I’m not a repeat customer, but if I need Orthopaedic surgery again this is who I want taking care of me! **UPDATE** Six months later - I'm back to cycling 25+ miles easily and even picked up unicycling this year! Not bad for bi-lateral surgery.
UPDATE: I cannot stress enough how great this facility is for taking care of me and making sure that my medical care is top notch. In September of 2019, Dr. Troxell had to do surgery on my ankle, that I have been dealing with for a year and a half prior, from the calcaneus heel fracture. Dr. Troxell did above and beyond of what was needed for my medical care, I couldn’t ask for a better surgeon. The doctors at this facility or one of the best I have ever experienced in my life. I know that I wouldn’t be able to be where I’m at if it were not for these Great doctors at this facility. Dr. Troxel is new to this facility, but is a top-notch surgeon, I couldn’t ask for a better job, or a better doctor to take care of me. I’m so grateful for everything that they have done for me, in my past and all the way up through now.I would recommend them to anybody.
Went to Bay Area Orthopedic Specialist for pain in both my feet due to being flat footed. Dr. Troxell was very excited to help! He scanned my feet for my own custom orthotics. I was in and out and had my orthotics in a timely manner. I'm very satisfied and would highly recommend him and the staff!
Dr. Warren is an outstanding doctor! After a knee injury, I sought help from Dr. Warren for the pain and discomfort. I found the doctor and his to be the very best you could ask for. The office is very clean and works very efficiently. I was seen very shortly after checking in with his office staff. The care I received was outstanding, and I am happy to say my knee is getting better. I consider myself lucky to have found Dr. Warren and I would recommend him to any of my friends.
Dr. Braun was able to work his magic with the knowledge and gifts given to him by God. Which then allowed me to walk again after being bed bound for 3 months.

I have put up a review before, and I just can’t tell you how much respect I have for this medical group. Dr. Braun has taken on my injury, coming up on a year March 19, 2018 when nobody else would at the time, and has saved my foot, Or at least to the point to where I still have my foot. I had a calcaneus heel fracture that caused severe damage to my tendons, my nerves, my artery, and my whole foot in general, leaving me without a heel. Took about eight hours to get a doctor, Dr. Braun took it on, and has done such a tremendous job in saving my foot, I could not ask for a better doctor, better staff that is treating me, better office personnel that is making sure everything is getting done, then what Bay Area Orthopedic Specialists have done for me. I cannot thank them enough. Would I recommend this facility, and Dr. Braun? You bet I would with my life. Thank you, staff, and Dr. Braun. Dr. Braun, You performed an ACL reconstruction on my left knee about two and half years ago. I wanted to let you know how well I am doing and vis a vis what a great job you did on my surgery. Since I last saw you, I have lost 26 pounds and taken up running on a regular basis (yes, even after I was told at my age I might need to stop running) and in the last year I completed my first 5K, a Full Tough Mudder (10 mi), the Appalachian Ragnar Trail Relay in the WV mountains (16 miles broken up into 3 loops ((The three loops are green (hard), yellow (harder) and red (really freakin’ hard)) you get a few hours rest between loops but the loops range from green 3.5ish miles to yellow 4.0ish miles to Red 6.5ish miles in length), and finally, just this past Sunday I ran and completed the Marine Corps Marathon a full 26.2 miles. My knee couldn’t be better. So, thank you for a job well done from one of your age 50 something athletes, who was advised before seeing you that ACL reconstructions were not done on people my age. I’m having the time of my life.
My husband had reverse shoulder replacement 12/9/2016. 1 day after surgery the pain he experienced prior to surgery was gone. It has been 3 weeks and he is showering and dressing himself without help. Awesome! There is some discomfort but that is to be expected. Dr. Braun is not only easy to talk to but is an excellent physician.
