Medication/Refill Policy

You may receive medication as part of your treatment plan as outlined by your provider.  New prescriptions and refills are only issued during a face to face encounter with your provider. If you would like to request a new medication you may call during normal business hours 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at (727) 209-6677. Your provider may request a follow up appointment prior to prescribing a new medication.

When you are ready for a refill, please ask your pharmacy to refill the medication as many non-narcotic medications will have pre-authorized refills on the initial prescription.

For post-operative patients requesting a narcotic pain medication refill, please request refills at least two days in advance, if possible.  This means reviewing the number of pills you have remaining on Thursday to determine if you have enough to get you through until Monday, or the next business day in case of holidays.
